This month we are pleased to announce our additional location in Brisbane CBD. Located in Anne Street, in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD overlooking Queen Street Mall, King George Square and the Brisbane River. We are conveniently located with Roma Street Train Station only a 5 minute walk, City Cat and Ferries 200 metres away and Brisbane International Airport only a 30 minute drive.

OET Online Speaking and Writing modules are now available. With an emphasis on developing your English pronunciation and fluency, each course is individually designed to assist you in the areas where you need most help.

This month we have a question from a member who asks: "How can I improve my English speaking skills so people can understand me better? " This is a common question that we are asked. Many people have difficulty being understood by their work colleagues, clients or friends in English speaking countries. We have a great article on this in our Blog. Have a look to read some tips on how you can improve your English speaking skills.

If you want to speak English more clearly and reduce your accent, then our Accent Reduction Training Programs will help you to improve your English pronunciation. > What’s on in Melbourne
If you are studying with us in Melbourne this month, there are many things you can do to enhance your studies outside of your lessons. Here are just some of the things on during the month of August in Melbourne. The Melbourne Winter Festival is on during 3-15 August in Southbank. The Fire, Ice and Lights Festival will be held until August 8 at Waterfront City with performances on Friday night. The Melbourne International Film Festival is on until August 8 – call 9662 3722 for more information. MIFF hosts a feast of cinematic delicacies from over 50 countries for nineteen days each Winter, heavily garnished with a range of parties and special events that cast a celebratory mood over the city. An art exhibition is showing until September 5 in the State Library of Victoria highlighting Melbourne’s changing landscape.
> What’s on in Brisbane
If you are studying with us in Brisbane this month, there are many things you can do to enhance your studies outside of your lessons. Here are just some of the things on during the month of August in Brisbane. EKKA August 5 – 14, 10 days of fun at the RNA Showgrounds, including fireworks, concerts, displays, fashion parades and lots more. The Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival is being held during August 7 – 13 at Southbank. THE RCA Crew Fest is on August 8 with entertainment, dancing, cooking demonstrations, as well as car club displays.
