Accent reduction coaching is a very effective way to reduce your accent. Our clients have achieved at least a 50% reduction in their accent on completion of this training, with some individuals achieving up to 80% reduction in their accent.
Accent reduction training is very different from learning English grammar and vocabulary. An accent reduction program focuses on specific language pronunciation skills that influence your ability to communicate clearly. You will work on speech patterns and habits of your English pronunciation that affect other people's ability to understand you.
First you will complete an Accent Evaluation. A program will then be designed to meet your individual accent reduction needs.
Training sessions are then conducted according to your location, preferences and job related requirements. Face-to-face coaching (either weekly or intensive workshops), online teleconferencing programs (by the internet) and tele-classes (by phone) are available for clients who want to train in the privacy of their own home or office.
How does the accent reduction program work?
1. You will complete an evaluation of your English pronunciation. These results are then analysed and a program is specifically designed to suit your individual needs and will address your specific problem areas.
2. You will participate in one-to-one coaching sessions with a certified accent coach who will guide you and give you valuable feedback and support throughout your accent reduction training program.
3. Your sessions will be held at a time that suits you.
4. All the materials and instructions you will need to study successfully during your accent reduction program will be provided.
5. You will receive full support from your accent coach during your program.
6. You will receive recommendations and feedback at the end of your program.
